Any occasion gets even more special when you share a slice of Porter Cake.
This recipe was shared with us during a 2021 Irish Connection dinner by an Irish friend who joined us via zoom.
Porter Cake is a traditional Irish fruit cake made with dried fruit, candied peel, spices, dark brown sugar, and Guinness stout. The finished cake is traditionally “fed” with Irish whiskey.
We encourage our Club Members to try this authentic Irish recipe and enjoy a taste of traditional Irish baking. ☘️
